I told him not to play frisbee with Marcus Ambrose for at least a month. :23:
Bill Elliott is banged up too. |
Re: NASCAR thread
What were these guys doing, playing tackle frisbee??

Re: NASCAR thread
Pretty neat evening for racing. I'm glad Harvick won in his own NW car, now they can shut up about it. :23:
Nice to see the black 3 back on the track. Even in a truck race. :23: |
Re: NASCAR thread
Jeezz, that sucker was fast! What was there, only about 5 cars on the lead lap by the end? Shoudl be a really interesting race tomorrow night.

I'll go out on a looonnnnng limb and go with the #88 tonight! |
Re: NASCAR thread
It does'nt bother me if she gets in the Cup series. If she wrecks and finishes 30th or lower each week no one will ever consider her a threat so why not give her the rope to hang herself with. Their's 10 or more guy drivers in Cup right now that have no business being there either. It's nothing but another $$$ thing for Nascar.

Re: NASCAR thread
for some reason I have this picture in my head that "she's out of her car stormin' down to #18s pit box to whip somebody's @$$!"

I don't think DP has what it takes, they would be better off with Sara Fisher. |

Re: NASCAR thread
Good job by Carl and his pit crew to win the Friday night race. Even starting from last place (!), an ddriving wiht the broken foot he managed to make his way through the pack an come away with the victory. This is the third time this season he's come from 43rd to win a N'Wide race!

Re: NASCAR thread
Glad to see Carl and Greg make the Chase, as well as Mark. I hate that Matt didn't get in, but he just never could get it together for serious run.
Very happy to see Kyle miss out on the big party...couldn't happen to a bigger jerk. But it is interesting to see that the guy who won the first two races of the year, and a guy who tied for the most victories of the year didn't get it either. Should the rules be changed? Again? :borg: |
Re: NASCAR thread
I was absolutely thrilled that the reigning idiot of Nascar is looking in from the outside; I can't stand Kyle Busch. I was glad to see Biffle make it. To bad Kenseth didn't get in instead of Edwards; I'm not a real big fan of Edwards after the incident between him and Kenseth a couple of years ago in the pits.
I"m sure I'm the only one on this site to be thrilled with the Hendricks cars of Gordon, Johnson, and Martin in the chase. |

Re: NASCAR thread
I hope the old man wins the Championship. We are about 3 months apart in age and I'm proud he stills has it.
I'm standing by for the news release expanding the chase to 21 cars for this year??????? :23: I don't mean 20 or 22, 21 is the magic number for nascar. A back up plan would be a one time points award of 500 pts for any driver that's not in the chase or a past champion that has a last name that starts with an "E". :smack: |
Re: NASCAR thread
Another interesting point
Mark Martin #1 in points with 5040 :worship: Carl Long #81 in points is behind Mark by 5240. :23: The scale of these penalties can destroy an independent while it would have been just a PITA to a big team. Carl needs a bailout plan. |
