second...theres two teams in the nfl that are known as the suxors...the lions and the raiders. if the raiders woulda won, it woulda been nothing more than a fluke

Good luck against the Giants. I wasn't impressed the Girls' performance against TB. Giants are a strong team.

As for the Raiders being a fluke, thats just being stupid. The Raiders had some big upsets last year like beating Denver's azz IN Denver. The Raiders will show some improvement this year, we just need stability in the coaching staff.

Little steps. 500 or close would be very nice.

I agree on both points. Anything other than blowouts this season will be an improvement. A .500 record could be accomplished.

JR is from here in Mobile and it is common knowledge around these parts that he doesn't give a crap about football. All he really cares about is showing off his Maybach 52 to his crack dealer buddies, getting chauffeured around by his joke of a manager and hanging out in clubs with drug dealers. His story will end badly unless he grows up.

JaMarcus is pretty immature. He needs to drop all the crap you mentioned and find a mentor somehow. We spent too much $$$ on him to lose him.

Sanchez looked good I thought. Very promising for that team, he looks a little better than Stafford but he's got a little better team around him.

Make two his fault. Either one of the two was the price of that game. The Cowboys beat themselves.

Starting to get used to that :23:

I always enjoy how mature people are when they state their dislike for people and/or teams. Unable to discuss, but more than able to post like a 10 yr old who just learned a new cuss word.

But, yeah... I was a little upset last night. It basically came down to whoever had the ball last would win. Should not have come down to that, as The Boys did outplay the Giants. Unfortunately, the Boys outplayed themselves too.

francismaximus 09-21-2009 09:24 AM

Re: NFL Football Thread

Man! 3 picks? The defense looks ok, but that secondary really needs to be there. Or is the scheme they use defensivly dependant on reaching the QB? I don't know but both the Cowboys and the Titans rushed for a gazillion yard, and lost. But on a good note the Titans played 2 of there toughest rivals. And the boys and Giants are always a question mark. But Romo is scaring me, he can't play in the playoffs, and now he can't play atthe stadium debut with Jones watching AND the Presisdent.

Bunch of junk.........how bout that busch league time out call as the ball gets snapped on the first field goal attempt? That's a bunch of junk. But the Giants got the last laugh anyway as Tynes split the posts on his second attempt. I hope Jerry Jones enjoyed watching that on his 6000 foot big screen tv. :23:

By the way, the ball that bounced off Witten's foot was a poorly thrown ball, thrown low and behind the receiver, THAT is why it got picked off.

I'd have to argue about that. The ball was a shite throw, but that bounce was a fluke.

The bounce was a fluke, but it never happens if the ball is thrown well.

Not EVERY stat.....

Manning- 25/38(65.8%) - 330yds - 2 TD - 0 INTs

Rhomo- 13/29(44.8%) - 127yds - 1 TD - 3 INTs

Cowgirls will never win a playoff game with Rhomo playing like this in week 2. :smack:

I can understand why the Cowpies lost. Rhomo got nervous about the opening of Jerry World. Maybe they should start him for full games in the pre-season. Then he won't be so skeered. :23:
