Interesting that this link show my car as a GT, and in Colorado Red, and a correct build date. No mention of Mach 1, or Torch Red. And that's from Ford!?!

Also, it appears that the thread originator has not posted in over a year, so this link may be your best option, or you can order a certificate of authenticity from Ford and it will give you that and other information.

Since the Mach was based on the GT package, my insurance shows it as a GT as well, and the P42 in the VIN is a GT designator it's not too surprising. But with all of the other features shown it is a bit surprising that's not spelled out. Thank goodness for the 'R'!

When i check my vin # it says Mustang, 4.6L DOHC V8 EFI, Ebony paint and Midnight Black Interior. My Mach has black paint though. Also it says version GT. :what:

I would get that changed, not sure but I would think would be lower for a GT, I know on my registration it says Prestige Auto, even after 12 years I just got registration and it was $147 :crazy:

Your Mach 1 has an engine block heater correct?? That's a difference I see on Canadian built Machs. Your build list states "Immersion Heater Engine" where mine states "Less Immersion Heater" I know of at least 1 other Canadian car has the block heater also. I believe the plug is near the head lights.
