Well good nite.:eyes:

im slightly worried about it...however, i think we have a better secondary than the PATS....scandrick + newman is a pretty decent combo. should help keep receivers in check...and the Pats didnt have D. Ware to pressure brees.

we'll see.

i know this, romo is gonna have to light up the skies, gonna take 35-42 points to beat the saints

Win or lose, Favre would have NOTHING to be embarrassed about after the season he's had.

sounds like some jealous football fans out there, ya the pats sucked last night but lets face it the saints are having the best year they ever had thanks to NFL being fixed just look at the calls that indy and the saints are getting and try to argue pass interferance for 1

Or someone's overly frustrated :23:

I miss real football. The call stood and it was all about the refs vantage point. Instant replay and two-hand QB touching rules have ruined it. Kinda like restrictor plate football.

I could pick apart a lot of calls, but its outta my hands. I'll yell for a sec, and move on. :anger:

Got news for you.......those "fixed" calls go on around the whole league every Sunday. Neither of these teams got to 11-0 by having questionable calls gifted their way by the officials. Get real.

jcooper0818 12-01-2009 07:19 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

its funny he would even mention calls... Brady is by far the most protected quarterback in the NFL by the officials!! get real!! we had 3 holding calls in the secondary on the same person...seems like they were looking real hard at what we were doing!

cant wait till the 19th!!! but gotta get past the falcons at home the week before!!

serviceman1 12-02-2009 06:16 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

I'm not even thinking the pats are in the same league this year as the elite teams just saying that I see alot of very questionable calls . I would like nothing better than to see another undefeated team to shut up those Dolphins and the champaign toast when ever someone gets close.

Losing to two of the worst teams in the league, it's time to go back to the drawing board and get ready for next season. Just finish 8-8 at least. :12:

Did you need that post deleted???

Don't need any more games like this season. Like the Saints of old except that this ended up in the 'Win' column.

Correction; 74% completion and 112 passer rating, in a loss :eyes:

our stupid defense, which Ive always said is our biggest issue....and seriously, the coach's need to know when to give up on the running game...and if you're going for it on 4th down, throw it PAST the 1st down marker

Well I know after the Giants game I don't have a leg to stand on but the Cowboys it seems are the only ones left on the Saints schedule that can "possibly" beat them.

Everyone that the Saints played this season could have beaten them. Hell, a few of them even came close. But........this ain't horseshoes, if ya know what I mean. ;)

I don't know where anyone got the impression that having a no loss record meant that your team was considered unbeatable. No team is unbeatable. There's a reason they invented the phrase "any given Sunday". I've seen plenty of Superbowl bound teams get it handed to them by teams that were on the bus home long before.

You take a win here, you take a win there. You string enough of them together and you can possibly find yourself at the big game. That's how it happens almost every season.

typically. normally our offense can put up enough points...just our D cant keep the other team from putting up more

I'm actually more concerned with the Facons next weekend rather than the Plowboys. Atlanta has always been a stubling block for the Saints, even in a good season.

I just saw the schedule for the Cowpies and the Giants and you guys don't have any room to talk. You could easily lose every week. :23: To the birdbrain Raven fan, you guys could be in the same boat as us after tonight. Your getting ahead of yourself.
