Re: Eaton Swap.....
hey wu, did you get the eaton new, or used??
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
used hardly describes it. its got less then 5k miles on it.
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
also guys i got a egr delete for my setup what all could i cross off the "gotta get it" list? just the valve itself and the tube?
also yea what does that lil tube go to coming out the bottom of the lower intake go to? |
Re: Eaton Swap.....
its part of the pcv system we usually just plug them off when we have cars that want to make a lot of boost.

Re: Eaton Swap.....
so i can just plug that lil nozzle off at the bottom of the intake?

Re: Eaton Swap.....
Had a question for ya'll on the power steering hoses. Are they all needed for the swap or can you get by only replacing a single one on there? I've been looking for all of them but they aren't too easy to find.
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
the only hose that causes a problem (from what i understand) is the return line.
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
I don't plan on replacing any of the power steering lines. The return line might need to be bent a little out of the way.
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
yea that what im going to do as well. power steering lines are expensive as hell
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
What is the recommended shop manual for the car too? I'm looking for something to check out if I have any questions about assembly. Everything posted should be a big help but i'm curious about torquing bolts etc.
|
Re: Eaton Swap.....
i would get a helms manual for the cobra. the hardest part will be wiring and vacuum hook ups
