Not to rain on the Jets parade, but they have'nt proven a thing with the way they got into the Playoffs. Their last two wins they were'nt playing a starting team. In my worthless opinion I look for completely opposite results in the Cowpies rematch and the Bengals rematch. The Green Bay rematch I think is a toss up.

I've learned, with this team, not to predict... due to them being as unpredictable as my Wife.

Today's supposed to be firing day in the NFL but so far we've heard very little news. Everybody knew about Zorn in DC and many suspected Buffalo would get a new coach but that's about it besides the Giant's D-coordinator. What's everybody waiting on?

Every team in the playoffs, with the exception of the Jets, has a legit shot at going all the way. The Ravens probably won't get there because they usually beat themselves with penalties. This playoff will be one to remember for sure.

I have to disagree. I don't know how far we will go but I think we beat the Bengals...Again.

You cannot chalk that up to choking. The Eagles SUCKED, and the Cowboys beat them, don't make excuses.

I do agree about next week though. Not going to be anywhere near as easy for the Cowboys as it was this week.

0-2 on my playoff predictions. Dallas and the Jets played really good. Congrats to them.

Wow.... really? They typically choke in the NFC Championship game. This year they choked two weeks straight? I think not... That Dallas D has been impressive. The Boys are far from the SB, but they've juked that Dec stigma with 3 impressive wins... even 2 impressive losses for how they are in Dec.

Now they've juked the Playoff loss reputation.

Can't get any respect. If they lose the next game, so be it... they've done good.

Maybe there is something to global warming afterall, the Boys won a playoff game after 13 years, something funny going on.:23:

Not making excuses. I like the Eagles about as much as I like Dallas. The fact is the Philadelphia teams choke and collapse come Championship time.

Re: NFL Football Thread

It may not be as big of a blow out next week but the cowboys will win

this D can shut down peterson and chase favre around til he's a worn out old man....or wait

heres some statistics for you:

in a dome, Favre is 0-9 vs. the Cowboys

last time Cowboys finished a season with a 3 win streak and won the first playoff game was 1993....and we all know what happened there

Thanks for giving us a little credit bro. I said it before if Sanchez does well we have a shot at this. Hope we play Indy next. Gotta root for the Pats.

Who I want to win in the Playoffs and who I need to win in the Playoffs is like a minefield. Last year in my Fantasy Football league I was completely out of it for getting a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finish and finishing in the money. This year I'm holding onto 1st place so far. I really need the Colts to get to the Superbowl on the AFC side, and the Vikings or Cowpies need to get to the Superbowl on the NFC side. The Jets and Cowpies winning cut the legs out from afew people chasing me. I need the Pats (Uuuugh) and the Cardinals to win today.

Confession: I've had Rhomo as my QB the whole year. :23: :23: :23:

Eagles have been really dissapointing to watch. Between Donovan and Reed calling the shots. Last two weeks were an embarrasment. Vick trew more yards in one pass than Donovan all game.

I second that, after hearing a Brady interview after the last Ravens/Pats where he was bragging about how he influenced late hit calls on him. I could'nt help but wanna see him get his butt kicked real good today.

I picked up Early Doucet as a desperate last player to pick before the Playoffs started. I never expected this guy to get me 2 TD's. I never heard of him before last week. :23:

Doucet was a pretty goo dplayer when he was with LSU.

Looks like the Saints will be playing the Cardinals next weekend.

Unbelieveable ending to what turned out to be a good game. I was pulling for AZ only because I think the Saints have a better chance of beating them rather than GB. Only time will tell.
I do think the Cowboys/Vikings game will be the best one to watch next weekend.

With the way the Cardinals defense played today and the absence of the Saints D the past few weeks, it could end up being exactly like today's game.
