Thanks for the feedback.

Sorry I didn't read your signature. Selling the P1 will save you some money on the F1 for sure. Darren does good work with the stock AOD trans from what I've heard. Make sure you research everything you do with your short block before you pull the trigger.

Im using 160s i think Cory is running 83s
Use your existing block and that number should be fine
I was using a TKO600 with a Spec 3+

Not going to be able to run 91
Im using 93 only because i have a stand alone
Cory runs 100

Im not saying it cant be done , but is it safe ? Or is it worth it ?

The biggest issue with the F1 is belt slip . I converted to the 8 rib and tried multiple tactics . I personally wasnt happy enough with the results . An auto will work much better with the 8 rib then a manual .

Im the Cogboy as M1M puts it . Oh well you dont hear me complain about belt slip or breaking belts anymore .

160 pound injectors? Wow.

So, it sounds like I should just step up to the D1 and be happy with 15-17psi? Would be cheaper, I think. Should have just got the D1 from the start. What do you think is the power potential through a built auto for a D1?

Forgive me, what is a "cog" setup?

I started with the D-1 and made plenty of power . Yes it is cheaper and more manageable .

Not sure about power with the auto .

This is a cog .

Ever see a belt where the ribs face the opposite direction and actually dig into the pullies? That's a cog...

Ah, yes yes. Although, technically the opposite direction wouldn't change the way they affect the pullies... more accurate to say a 90 degree shift, but I digress. This is the typical setup of the big boys that have a 1,548.3L displacement roots blowers, a crank pulley, and maybe one accessory (Probably alternator?). That's pretty awesome! No slip, and if there is, you need a new belt. :smack:

Depends what horsepower your looking for. You can make in the mid 600's with a D1 and the right supporting parts, at the wheels with an auto. I'm at 442 now at 10 lbs of boost with a real conservative tune. 650 is my plan as son as I get forged.:smokin:

650 on pump gas? (In particular, 91 octane)
