The 42 car (Foreign guy) kept slamming into the rear of the 38.
When the 42 passed the 38, the 38 "accidentally" made a hard left into the 42 before he was clear. The 42 got absolutely mangled, and ASSCAR sat the 38 for 5 laps. 38 decided to park it. Sounds like retaliation for that road course wreck the 42 caused, when he pinched off the 38. Fair is fair. |

Let's hear it for Fusion fuel milage!
Now, if only JJ can continue wiht the same kind of luck that shrub had at the beginning of the chase!! :borg: |

Either suspension set up (which you would think would be better with Roush input) or the drivers (ah, ha). Even Biffle and Kenseth had respectible runs today. :borg: |

Re: NASCAR thread
I'd just like to see some of Carls and Kyles luck rub off on JJ so we can see a historic comeback by either Carl or Greg to put away a Ford championship that is deserved, not handed out.
Also, if we're gonna let imports in the series, why can't it be something cool like Ferrari or Lamborghini or Maserati or Aston Martin? Why does it have to be something as lame as Toyota or Honda? Lastly; did anyone notice all of the empty seats this weekend? Baaad! :borg: |

If you listen to Kyle "backmarker" Petty, he thinks it's the economy. I think it's the fugly ricer cars and toiletta's presence that turn fans off. They never address the subject on TV, they only spout ASSCAR's position, and don't listen to or ask the fans. |

I think you are correct. There are many like myself who are not part of the good ole boy network that like Nascar and hate Toyletta. However, the huge majority of Nascar fans are still part of the good ole boy network that want nothing to do with Toyletta, Honda, or foreign drivers in Nascar. Nascar put it's blinders on to their fans and took the $$$$$ that Toyletta was flashing them. In the end it will cost them more in lost fan support than what Toyletta paid Nascar. |

The first major telltale sign will be Ford, GM and Chrysler pulling out support. Hopefully all at one time in a joint news conference. Who wants to watch a bunch of Jap cars run around? Certainly not me. "Uncle Ben presents the Fart Can 500!!!!". ASSCAR will blame it on the economy (without looking in the mirror of course), and fail to realize that by allowing toietta to "compete" in the first place, will be part and parcel to their own demise. And Brian "The Pansy" France will still have "an effeminate bearing". |
Re: NASCAR thread
Once again a dominating win by JJ. Just about all wrapped up. Even those who hate him have to admit that three championships(if he finishes 36th next week) in a row is impressive. :worship:
A very nice showing by one of the forgotten drivers at Roush with McMurray. Carl Edwards also kept his hopes alive.(on life support). However the real downer was the PATHETIC display of immaturity and stupidity of Matt Kenseth at the end of the race. Hitting Almandinger in retaliation for his accidental contact at the end of the race and causing a 10 car accident was stupid. I'm sure that Nascar will hit the pocket book Tuesday. However, I'm sure that Jack Roush was not to impressed by his actions either. |

Would've been a better race if Jimmie had gotten Jeffs motor.

Re: NASCAR thread
I am truly hoping that all 3 AMERICAN manufacturers pull
all support of ASSCAR. Brian "The Pansy" France has already ruined it when he allowed toiletta in the door, mandated the "Car of Tomorrow" with the ricer wing, and generally being an un-American traitor to the entire fan base and the manufacturers that made the sport what it once was. No one will watch ASSCAR with a bunch of toilets running around. The Pansy can put on whatever smiley face spin he wants to, but the fact is he destroyed it. The owners need to start their own series, with no foreigners (drivers or mfr's) allowed. Anyone got any Michael Waltrip urinal targets? (Sorry for being so subtle) |

I've a copy of a short portion of that race taped when the TR Mach paced the race. I was hoping they'd be using the 2010 Mustang or a Super Snake or GT500 KR or something really cool. This is the opposite of that.

Re: NASCAR thread
Well it seems that Jimmy Johnson may be the best of all time. Including people like Dale Earnhardt and Cale Yarborough when compared to the competitiveness of Nascar during their era. Now I'm NOT saying Jimmy is a better driver then those guys but he did accomplished what they did in this era of NASCAR when it is a lot harder to do it. Here is an article that shows stats to show this. It basically says that Jimmy did what they did but with a lot more competitive teams to race against which I firmly agree with and have been saying for a while. If these NASCAR legends such as Earnhardt, Yarborough, and Petty were racing in NASCAR in this era, they would not have the wins and championships like they had back then. It is much more competitive now days then it was back then.

Re: NASCAR thread
There was that OTHER guy this year. The one who came in second place in champoinship points in two different series. Not too shabby on his part...I think it was Edward Carl or something like that...
(I can't think of it, and it seems no one else in the media knows what he did, either) Congrats to JJ on his acomplishment, and to JG for proding him...along, I meant to say proding him along...I really did! :borg: |

I will buy stuff at Lowes, when Ace doesn't have it. Mainly because they sponsor an American car, and Home Depot doesn't. |

Re: NASCAR thread
Here is an article on NASCAR.com showing how Brian France screwed up NASCAR. It shows that on the average, TV ratings are going down in the last 10 races since the chase started. I'm sure this is happening all year but the chart just shows the chase races. Now with the COT cars, a lot of the races are boring. Including Bristol!!

"The ratings are down and attendance is down. Why? The COT is fugly wih the ricer wing. Brian the Pansy France allowed toiletta in. No one wants to see foreign cars on the track. No one wants to see foreign drivers on the track, nor indycar wannabes. No one wants to hear the Waltrips kissing toiletta's butt on every broadcast either. No one cares about "the chase". ASSCAR racing has become a joke, and I hope the Big 3 pull out so "The Pansy" can see how he has destroyed what the intelligent members of his family created. The Pansy drives a Lexus (made by toiletta) so we all know where head is at, at least when the suppositories aren't in the way." |

Nascar used to be a swig of Jack Daniels each week, with personalities, back & forth between manufacturers & owners, excitement & real racing (that, yes involved bumping, grinding & wrecking). Now it is not much more than warm milk. Nothing wrong with warm milk, but warm milk helps you to go to sleep and that is where the sport is slowing going.....to sleep. Where is Jack Kevorkian when you need him. Will the last person who cares about this sport pull the plug when you leave!! :3amin: |
