And you call yourself a fan. lol
Lets get started. Go Gaints. I don't like them, I hate the cowpies!
My Redskins should start to go in the right direction this year.

I suppose the Redskins having a 3-1 pre-season might actually mean something. Probably the best record you'll have all year.

I hope our so called potent offense can get it done this year. Good depth at the defensive line as well. GO BIRDS!

How bout dem cowboys!!!!! Startin things off right, hopefully they can keep it going. :smokin:

DeMarco Murray was the missing link for the Cowpies. If he stays healthy they'll easily get into the Playoffs. I bet he's in the top 3 for rushing this year.

i agree, but also now we have some defensive backs woohooo!!!!!

It means nothing. That may be true too. At least we don't have another full year of sexy Rexy at QB.
For the 1st time since Danny boy bought the team the Redskins are building a team through the draft ( like your Steelers ) and not just buying some old washed up players to sell jerseys. So I think their on the right track.....

I am worried about this game.
Who knows what Saints team is going to show up.
A real pizzed off team or one that just does not care about this season.
I'm hoping for the 2nd one.
Being a long time Redskin fan.......Its nice to think you have a chance for a change.

GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: NFL Football Thread

We're kinda in the same boat in wondering what kind of team we're going to actually have this season. there's a lot of talent...some of it is actually going to play, either now or later in the season...and then there's the coach, who can't coach this entire year. Yeah, this gonna be fun...

Well, well, well. The Redskins kick the S out of the 'Aints. Yeah, it came down to the last play, but the Redskins owned that game. R2G3 played incredible for a high pressure game like that.

RGIII wears # 10

They scored 10 in the 1st quarter, 10 in the second, 10 in the third, and 10 in the fourth. I'll take that every week.

I hope the Redskins go 14 - 2....losing only to the Cowboys.....who will only win 7 more games this year.

RGIII will win a Super Bpwl before the Cowboys do though.

How 'bout those REDSKINS! :worship:

Right? That last drive saved my *** on fantasy too. I started Stafford and Kevin Smith.

Mile High Manning, baby!

Thunderbolt 09-10-2012 05:59 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

All I wanted was that last drive to see if the Steelers could get their head out of their butt. Nope. It was wedged up their azz pretty good. Almost no deep balls to the receivers, and Redman sucks as a starting running back. He's not meant for that. I did'nt see any rust on Manning. It's like he never left for 1 year.

stang8092 09-10-2012 06:41 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

The time of possession difference was crazy.

Thunderbolt 09-10-2012 06:48 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

That was the pathetic part. They held onto the ball FOREVER, and then come away with a pathetic field goal. When that happens in a big game like that, I'm just rolling my eyes because I can feel the loss coming. You just can't do that when you're playing against a surgeon QB. It should be TD's or nothing.

falcongtho3 09-10-2012 07:35 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

RG III put a show on for the Saints fans, unfortunately he was playing on the other team. He is a force to be reckoned with. Of course, if we had managed to get a handle on all the balls Brees threw it certainly would have helped out cause.

Re: NFL Football Thread

I was reading Cutler's lips and he told #73 to "GET THE F**K OUT OF THE GAME"! :31: I guess he's tired of getting sacked from the left side. Interesting battle of the Predator sack dances between #69 and #52.

I think the Bears defense is doing good, but you just can't keep the Packers down forever. The Bears need points bad. I've never thought much of Cutler. To me, he's average at best. They'll never win a Superbowl with him.

True statement, but gotta keep the faith going. Well be ready next time. Back to the drawing board.

Re: NFL Football Thread

Cutler is the biggest douche in the game....that is all

Thunderbolt 09-13-2012 11:58 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

If I had to make a comparison with Cutler, I'd compare him to Kordell Stewart of the Steelers. I absolutely hated every year that Stewart was the Steelers QB. He was the interception King. I did'nt even care if the Steelers made the Playoffs because I knew Stewart was gonna throw his usual 3 interceptions per game. Game over.

When Denver and Chicago swapped Cutler/Orton I knew that was just swapping one sucky QB for another. Denver woke up last year and finally ditched Orton. Chicago needs to dump Cutler. The defense did a good job. Now just imagine if the Bears would have scored some points. It would have been a great game.

Thunderbolt 09-16-2012 07:35 PM
