I wanted to see the Cowpies knock off the Broncos, but of course Rhomo has his usual choke attack. The Broncos are the team to beat in the regular season.

I am no Cowboy fan but felt bad for Romo, he hung with him till the F- UP, go Jets (and I live in GA.. my friends hate me)..I have to root for the Jets while also putting the hex on the Braves.. using ALL my powers tonite!! Also so happy , Jaguars 0-5, they are like possums..at home they play dead and on the road they are road kill!!

Frickin' Romo, has a carreer game, hadnt thrown a pick in 121 straight pass attempts, has the Broncos on the ropes and threw 5 TD passes and 500+ yards and still ends up the goat.
I love it, so easy to pick on him. Poor bastard.

Jets have a big win IN Atlanta, what a strange game at the beginning, looked outside for a full moon, the defense is AWESOME, Sanchez??Who is Sanchez?, go Geno Smith!!! :D

Re: NFL Football Thread

If an offense achieves 48 points in a game, then the blame can only go against the defense for such a loss.

If I was the quarterback and someone told me I would have a 500+ yard game and have 48 points I would assume that I would win the game.

cowboy's loss should be solely on the defense. I'm in Dallas, I pull for the Cowboys but have never been a Romo fan boy. But in this case, the attention should not be on his interception. They should go back to the Defense and fix their week areas. You cannot win the big prize in the NFL without having a solid team on both sides of the ball.

Can't wait for Sunday night. Redskins-cowboys.......two of the worst defences in the NFL. :SMASH:
Go Redskins.

I hope Super BoB has a great game for you too.. He seems to be coming back a little more each week.
As long as you don't have either defence ( Redskins- Cowboys ) you should be OK.

RGIII did not light it up...however the Lions win again. Still first in the division. Even if it is by a blonde one. Point diff and head to head they lead the Bears but GB is not going to go away anytime soon.

Lions couldn't quite do it. Lose in the dying seconds on a 54 yard field goal. Thats a 50/50 shot in my books. Hell of a game.

Colts v Denver game was great. I'm happy and sad the Colts won, just like I would be if the Broncos would have won. I don't know about you guys, but I think Peyton's throws lost their zip after that sack-fumble in the endzone. It sucks getting old.

Re: NFL Football Thread

Well at least we now know that it is not all Romo's fault.

They run the ball all over in the first half, then stop running in the last quarter. They have 4th and one and they throw a pass that is knocked down. They try for a two-point conversion and they throw a pass that is knocked down. If they don't have anybody that can gain one or two yards they didn't deserve to win.

They throw a long pass to Williams (83) for a catch then don't attempt another one. All they could pass was to the side to Whitten (82) for a no gain or lost. Bryant (88) is not as good as he thinks he his.

Stillers SB record 6 & 2

Bengals SB record 0 & 2

Patricheats SB record 3* & 4 (and have not won a SB since Spygate). Maybe Santa brought Bill Bellicheat a new video camera for Christmas this year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm under no illusion about the Bengals. I've been following them long enough to know better.

I just love trolling the Stoolers fans. :31:

Cincinnati had a good season. Time for the Bungles to make their appearance.

ab_mach1 01-01-2014 10:16 PM

Lol, stoolers

Yeah, the bungles had a good season. I still say too bad KC didn't win. I think the Steelers would have been that spoiler that teams would hate to play in the playoffs.

The Bengals owner, Mike Brown, is a stubborn mule. Marvin Lewis won't be gone until his contract is up. Even then, Brown will probably resign him. The Bengals will continue their legacy of pissing away opportunities and embarrassing themselves on the big stage. This won't change until Mike Brown is gone.

I think it's a coin flip for the two games today. For the least of all the evils I'd have to take Seattle to hopefully win it all. Even though I live here and could'nt care less about the Seahawks.

Me too - I wouldn't mind at all if Peyton won another SB. Can't let the Niners get their 6th - so Seattle needs to come back and win, or Peyton needs to take care of 'em in the SB.

Oh - and Bill Bellicheat and the Patricheats* again fail to win the SB in the post Spygate era.

Could the refs have blown the Frisco game any worse? Intercept a ball, break and leg and NO ONE pays attention? Run into the punter and everyone's all friendly? They run out of yellow flags or something?
