I like how these supposedly diehard Suckhawk fans are so weak. I go to bet one guy that he can have his beloved Suckhawks and I'll take Denver, then he asks me how many points he gets. ???????? Do I look like friggin' Las Vegas? He finally grew a pair and bet me $100.

Wonder how many people turned it off/changed the channel at halftime. :what:

Re: NFL Football Thread

I turned it off @ halfway thru the third...
Not because I did not want Seattle to win, just because it was so bad...
Always been a Manning fan, going back to watching Archie and wishing he would get traded to a team that would win back then...
Wanted to see Peyton do well...Seattle was just too much for the Denver "O"
Congrats to all the Seattle fans...

Just remember...The real Twelfth Man resides in College Station... ;)

I feel bad for Peyton. Those idiots on Total Access on the NFL network are just too much. I used to be a diehard fan of that show, but I just can't stand hearing the BS from a few of those guys. :(

Well it looks like the Cowboys have kicked off training camp at Oxnard again.

Looks like they're in preparation of another 8 - 8 season. One can only hope that Romo gets hurt.

It's almost as good as the Saints idea of blowing a lead, but letting it get into overtime to lose.

Yeah, that game was looking like New Orleans was gonna have an easy time. Then the Falcons got hot and turned it around. I've got Brees in my Fantasy Football league. He had a crappy points day.

Ray Rice is a scumbag. I really don't understand how the video of them inside the elevator is never known about till 7 months later, especially when the casino had to know about it. Looks like it was all trying to be swept under the rug to protect Rice. They should just make it a rule that if you get arrested for anything, your done in the NFL. If these guys are suppose to be a role model, then practice what you preach.

I totally agree. I'd have done lost my job back when this whole thing started.

If this scenario was any normal person charged with felony aggravated assault, and with video evidence they have, we'd be going to prison for 5+ years. He gets a plea deal for anger management classes or some crap with the possibility of having it erased from his record. Then, since it's just an indefinite suspension, he can still be re-instated by the NFL. They did it for Vick when that moron got out of the penzo.

Well truly sad how the Cowboys are, but they are my team and I will go with them every time. Time to do a remodel on the whole team, a few have proven they do not need to be in the head spots for that team, but there are a few that need to stay where they are.

I was talking this over with my dad and when he told me about JJ Watts new contract and how much money these guys are making. I have thought about all the IMPORTANT JOBS that people hold in this world, Armed Forces, Police, Fire Fighters, EMT's, and Teachers. I am sure I'm leaving out a couple, but my point is that they ones that will lay down their own life for people they do not even know, or playing a big role in the next generation to come up, do not get paid that much for the amount they do. This goes along with movie stars, singers, and sports. I believe there should be a cap on how much they can be paid and I am sure it would be a whole different game. I am just amazed at the priorities our Nation has become. Ok I'm done with my soap box. just thought I would vent a little on the subject.

All they need is a new General Manager :secret: (Jerry Jones).

They are off to a roaring start to a 7 - 9 season.

I would have picked Johnny Football and I'm not even a A&M fan .

The wife and I do not even have cable at the house, mainly because of the news, just gets us fired up and wrapped up in the world, so I don't get to watch really any football. I did see a little of Sunday's game, was in the 2nd half and just sad :frown:

That was an incredible Steelers-Colts game. All TD's and no friggin' field goals for the Steelers. They never played conservative. That's how they usually lose big games.

I was thinking another 8-8 season for the Steelers from re-building, and growing pains from getting them settled in their new positions. They're doing better than I expected, but their still up and down from beating tough teams, then losing, or nearly losing to weak ones. They still need time to iron things out.

REDSKINS bench RG ME.......RGIII.
Won't listen to coaches, study playbook, run, throw when he should (like he did before), list goes on and on.
Sad to say, the RGIII from 2012 may be gone for good.
The only thing that may get his attention is when ALL his commercials dry up.
Colt MaCoy will start.....REDSKINS still get it wrong.
Dan Snyder has run this once proud teem and fan base into the ground.

Happy Thanksgiving........sorry for the rant.

I'm from RG3 country and I couldn't agree with you more. He is just not an NFL QB and he is injury prone.

I have to say I'm pulling for Colt as he is from around these parts as well although he is not an NFL QB either.

Maybe it's time to rename the team.....the Washington Gridlocks!

Long time fan and I couldn't agree more.

After falling for the Schuler hype, I never jumped on the RGIII ban wagon. I wanted to see him do good and be the QB they said he was but I took a show me mindset before calling him a great QB.
