Re: NASCAR thread
Personally, I liked the freight train racing. I thought it was incredible to see in person. The pairs racing looks rediculous.

Re: NASCAR thread
Montoya is such an a$$. He wrecks himself by getting into Newman and then gets mad at Newman for it. So what does he do, spins Newman out. At least Newman was the bigger man and didn't retaliate. He went to the hauler to get some questions answered while Montoya quickly left the track with his tail between his legs. Way to go Montoya you big baby!!!!!!!!

Re: NASCAR thread
When I went to the (rain delayed) Michigan race a few years ago, I saw a sign that said 'Juan Problem Montoya'...some things never change. Sad to see three 'yodas cross the line first, sad.

Re: NASCAR thread
That was a good Darlington race. That's a great track. It's cool that Reagan Smith won. I could'nt believe Smith had 35 lap tires and held off Edwards with new tires. I thought for sure Carl was gonna eat him up. Normally, for the most part I like Kyle Bush, but that was a cheap shot he gave Harvick, and then he can't back his actions up and runs away like a pv$$y. That's nothing but a coward. He'd do the same thing even if it was behind closed doors.

Re: NASCAR thread
Kyle Busch needs to change his name to Kyllee Busch. What piece of crap he is. Turns Harvick into the wall and then is not man enough to face him in pit lane. I suspect Busch will be seeing a nice fine. I wish NASCAR would suspend him, but there are too many azz clowns in the stands that like his chicken crap attitude.
Wish Dale Sr was around to put Busch in his place. Maybe Harvick will... BTW Props to Harvick's crew for wanting to beat the crap out of Pee-Wee Harman's crew following the race. BTW I very much dislike both of these drivers so I could care less what each does to each other. I just think it was a chicken spit move and then Busch afraid to face Harvick afterwards. Instead he waits till Harvick is out of his car and then pushes his car down pit road. Could have hurt an unsuspecting person on pit road..... Weak Sauce Move!!!! |

Ummmm, I'd say it's still to early to say that with 90 laps left.

Carl Kenseth won?

I like him better than Carl Johnson and Carl Busch. I was hoping for Carl Biffle to win but I think the right Carl won today. :23: |
Re: NASCAR thread
Carl Martin snuck in there with a 2nd Place.

Good old Matt won,:smokin:

I didn't think it would happen but I finally witnessed a Kyle Busch win that I liked seeing. I might have to consider some of his off track behavior from now on.
The race tonight was pretty fun to watch but I get tired of seeing so many NFs. NF = Non-Ford |
Re: NASCAR thread
I missed the race. What did I miss? Can't wait for the All-Star race tomorrow though.

Lots of empty seats at the toiletta er, I mean truck race
|
Re: NASCAR thread
That's one thing I noticed in last weeks Cup race at Dover. Large banners covering entire sections that had no seats filled at all. Those sections that were not covered still had many unclaimed seats.

Re: NASCAR thread
Without a doubt I'm going to the Nationwide race in Newton, Ia. next year. Rusty Wallace's track. It seats 40,000 and guaranteed it'll be sold out. They could sell out that track with just people from Iowa.
|
Re: NASCAR thread
So the old rule was that you had to finish on the lead lap of the shootout in order for the fans to vote you in for the All-Star race. They now changed it so you don't have to finish on the lead lap. I wonder if they changed it so Dale Jr. is almost guaranteed to be in the big race. He is the face of NASCAR even though he is only a mediocre driver.
|
Re: NASCAR thread
Seems like they change something about this race every year. If it was'nt for non-point races, Jr. would'nt have won squat for the last 3 years. He's bordering on not even being a mediocre driver anymore. I wonder how much longer before Hendricks kick him to the curb.

Pretty awesome showing for the Ford guys so far. I sure wish Biff could hold that thing down low. He has a car as fast as Carl.
Too bad Harvick is not even close to Kyle. :23: |

Way to go Carl!!!! Too bad he wrecked his car doing his celebration. LOL

Actually he has been pretty calm over the years. He seems to be handling his mistake okay so far.

Re: NASCAR thread
I say:In your face, NASCAR power-morons!
They should have thrown a caution when the last restart resulted in a multi car crash, and the debris from those cars. Instead, the morons in control of things decide to give JR a win on a platter, only they didn't count on him running out of fuel on them. Shame on them. They made it so obvious that they didn't want the cars who dominated the day, and deserved a realistic chance for an honorable win to do so. The wanted the JR win. He didn't I'm glad, and they should be ashamed. :borg: |

Re: NASCAR thread
I think some heads need to roll after that obviously rigged race. I could'nt believe what I was seeing. They were'nt even halfway around the track so they were'nt even close to a white flag.
|
Re: NASCAR thread
At first I thought the same thing about NASCAR pulling for Jr but when I go back and watch it, I don't think they did. The track was plenty clear and as was proved in F1, Indy, and NASCAR today ... there is no way to fix a race with so many variables. Jr ran good today and has been all year. I'm not a fan but it gets a bit old hearing all the conspiracy theories. If NASCAR was cheating for Jr he would have won a long time ago.
I wonder if Chad will get a fine for his fbomb????? :23: |
Re: NASCAR thread
I've seen tons of races where debri is well off the track and they call a caution, yet when cars are skidding around out of control that means nothing? Jr. was already well ahead of everyone else.
