To be honest with you, I will have to agree,
win or lose they are still my team, but yet THEY SUCK AGAIN
just truly sad with the amount of money they throw into these players and get them as a result

I'm just having fun watching the EXPERTS eat crow for their earlier comments. Would love to talk with Former Gov. Rendell about his comments a few weeks ago when he said the Redskins were awful, were going to finish last in the division, and there was no way the Eagles weren't going to lose to them again.

:) I still can't believe the Redskins are in the playoffs. They have been so bad for so long. I've been a Redskin fan for a long time( 50+ years) and did'nt know if I would ever see them in the playoff again in my life time.

O yeah.......BY-BY Chip Kelly.

Interesting in that the Dallas Morning News pointed out that Alabama has won twice as many games as the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium this year. :23:

The Cowboys play the Redskins there tomorrow. It doesn't look good for the Cowboys. :eyes:

If they get a # 1 or a # 2 pick in the draft wonder who'll they get. I still say getting Johnny Football :worship: from the Browns would be a win - win situation for everybody.

I feel so bad for the Bengals fans, that was sad at the end, i'm not even concerned about the fumble at the end, the Def players that got the flags.
Steeler fans should feel very lucky

also the fact that I live down by Houston, some of the guys i'm around, just was talking smack about Dallas, but after yesterday, the Texans should have let the cowboys play in their place, that was a sad game also.
I do not care if the cowboys win or lose, I will not lose any sleep over it, but they are my team.

i'm hoping the Panthers win the whole thing

The first field goal the Vikings kicked was a laces in field goal and that was at least 45 yards. Then he kicks a laces in 27 yarder and misses.

The Steelers are lucky as well as the Seahawks that they are still alive.
I mean they still had to put up some points but both of those games should have been gimmees for the opposite team and they just handed them the win.
Brutal football, exciting finishes if your team won.

Interesting (though not surprising in the cases of the Bungles and 'Skins) that the home team lost in all four Wild Card games.

Rhomo isn't waiting for the regular season to get hurt. He wants to get hurt in pre-season and just take the whole year off.

Hey Kaepernick, go down to Mexico and make all of a 100 peso's playing football down there. You've got one problem that's going on with society here right now, so you completely crap on the flag, ignoring everything that's good about this country? Try doing some world traveling and you'll realize how good you have it here. Dumbazz.

So wait a minute. Kaepernick isn't even a Starter? Then who cares about him. I'm ok with the kneeling. Just some form of respect, even if you don't mean it, sadly.

But hey, who cares, the Lions won...without Megatron.
Cant believe he retired so he could be on dancing with the stars.

Since so many NFL players are 'protesting' by disrespecting the flag; I have decided to have my own Protest by not watching the NFL this year. No money spent on the NFL from my household this year.

My message to those guys is simple; if you do not like this country, then GTFO.

Disrespecting the flag / country is the wrong course of action to create change.

This is just Kapernick crying for attention.
That, and he knows his place is on the bench so he may as well stay glued to it.
It is idiotic and misguided what he is doing, while I agree inprovment needs to be made, pissing on the flag is no way to accomplish this.

X2

No DVR means no football for me (everything is streamed directly to the TV). Got really sick of having more commercials than game.

It's been known for years that actual football play is nothing compared to the entire length of the game. Does anyone remember back in 1983 they actually telecast an NFL game with no commentators at all? The coverage was complete silence. It was sooooo boring of a game. All that extra stuff keeps you interested. Less commercials would be nice.

To me, it all comes down to how you were raised growing up. Too many kids being raised with no manners, respect, or discipline. When something doesn't go their way, we have to listen to their temper tantrum. Absolutely no one agrees with every aspect of life here in the U.S., but don't add to the problems by creating more problems.

I like my sports coverage like I watch porn...
the TV muted with one of Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven or Wagner playing in surround sound and the fast forward button going double speed

Re: NFL Football Thread

Yep. Everyone can agree to disagree on the way they watch or don't watch it. I never watch taped games because all I do is fast forward to the final score.
