Engine bay paint markers
Anyone using a good set of paint markers to restore some of the factory feel to the fluid caps in the engine bay? Looking for little projects while i get ready for the next big jump.

You could be the first to try and report back, lol. I'm not going to lie, my 2004 SY engine bay looked much better than even a brand new car. I always washed it and detailed it every time I washed the car. My 2003 OW on the other hand, the engine bay is pretty duty. It was mainly that way when I got it from the pervious owner and I haven't gotten out there to clean it up. ASh |
Re: Engine bay paint markers
Picked up a no name set at HD, Worked great, didn’t take before and afters but definitely helped the caps look better and dress up some of the random silver pieces in the engine bay. If you re thinking about trying it I say go for it!

My engine bay is bad, I haven't even cleaned it since I got it back in aug, I did spray the C&L intake tube black when I re-charged the air filter, but haven't done anything to clean it up. ASh |

Used the markers on the windshield washer cap, dipstick is original, oil cap was a new purchase. Without the raised letters that oil cap would have been ridiculous.
