Anyone know where to get the bolts and washers needed for a 3/4" spacer. Just purchased the spacer without the bolts and washers. I keep seeing "Roy" as a source. Is that a person? An online store?

Just used this thread to install my 1/2" setup from Roy. Super easy and smooth and the car feels great. Thanks for the writeup!

Any preformance gains with the 1/2 spacer? Asking if anybody has seen any et benefits at the track?

Can the shaker be adjusted not to hit the hood or trim?

The butt dyno seems to think there's a noticeable bump in midrange but I don't have any numbers to back that up. :)

ROY -

(or anyone else who has done this) -

What do you torque the upper intake manifold bolts to?

Someone said 89 in-lbs for a 99 cobra, which is the same as the Mach 1, but this seems low to me. 89 in-lbs is barely snug.

Also - can you resuse the plastic intake gasket? mine looks dented like it might leak if I reuse it.

Thanks:confused:

Yes you can reuse the plastic intake gasket and I don't torque down the intake bolts, just get them nice and snug. They are easy to snap too so don't tighten them down too much.

Upper Intake manifold bolts

I said that I don't torque them down. That isn't tech, that is me telling someone something I do. Nice try though.
