Eatonswap Kit complete!

Well I just wrapped up the last parts I needed to complete my kit. I spent $2105 on parts to make this happen. The hunt wasn't too bad, just gotta have patience and find good deals. Special thanks to Machgsxr for helping me with everything I needed. I will be getting a street tune and a race tune. Race tune will be on Torco! Moving along, heres what will be done:

-Using existing cams (comp 106100's)
-Eatonswap with 3.4 pulley (9-10psi)
-FRPP 31 spline carrier
-FRPP 3.55 gears
-Moser 31 Spline Axles
-FRPP bearing kit
-Moroso 3" wheel studs

this set-up should be making some really good power. Will be posting videos of the car running and when it gets tuned. New numbers coming soon!!

I agree its on my top 10 of mach's i really like,
now its moving up on the list with a eaton swap
i know this is a crazy ideal but it would be kewl if the eaton s/c was powder coated TR, just a crazy ideal, but being black would look sweet
don't know what your plans are for the eaton

Re: Eatonswap Kit complete!

man congrates on getting it put togather, yeap that was a really good price you got it for and it does take time getting it togather, glad it wasn't a pain for you. i somewhat have wanted to put togather a eaton swap, tryin to put on togather for a good price and either sell a comp kit or like i kinda been wanting to do is use it and then change to a whipple , don't get me wrong i do like my procharger, but i really would love a whipple set up down the road. Well hope to see it all done at the shootout, got alittle time
again congrates on getting it. enjoy, post some pictures of the progress of the install, i always love to see a build on stuff

I wanted to powercoat the blower black and valvecovers Torch Red but wont have time to do it when its all apart. when and if the motor decides to give out, a new forged set up will be applied and maybe even a whipple/kb set up in a yr or 2. Also it will be easier since ill have the parts to make it all work. Ill post pics of the progress when it starts getting worked on!

Re: Eatonswap Kit complete!

that sounds good on the powdercoat stuff, i just have seen it where the eaton is black and valve covers are red, so i just was throwin a ideal out there that i haven't seen, doing the eaton black and valve covers black will look sweet.
i just enjoy it till it does give out. but the nice thing is that you will already have a eaton swap done when you need to get the motor rebuilt is that it won't take much to get the KB or Whipple hooked up on there. so its a win/win
Well ready to see the beast at the shoot out and we need to make sure to take out those slow a$$ bullitt's that are going to be there

i'm pretty sure i will, i have really no time with drag racing the mach with my set up, so its almost like i will be just getting some pratics time with it. also with my trans i can't shift over 6K RPM's and the Nitto 555R's i have on the back aren't the greatest on how much tread is left for getting good starts
oh well its all for fun
