Carlisle 2024

Okay, Carlisle 2023 is in the bag and another record setting year in attendees. There were 1969-1973 Mach 1's, 2003-2004 Mach 1's and the latest edition of Mach 1 for 2021 -2023.

2024 will be the 60th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang and that will be one of the themes for the event.

Be there or be square!

Re: Carlisle 2024

Tim and I will be there on Thursday as usual but I will have to leave Saturday morning to get home in time to catch a flight Saturday afternoon . Was going to drive the fresh rebuilt 70’ Mach but can’t chance something stupid happening on the way home so I’ll be wheeling the 24’ GT I traded my 14’ Shelby for in November. Got a deal I couldn’t refuse basically traded the 43,000 Gt500 for a brand new 24’ GT owing just title and tag fees…

Another shot of the 24’ added the 85/86 style hood stripe to it.

Can't say I blame you. It's had to beat those heated and cooled seats along with the rest of the amenities of the modern Mustangs. My '70 Mach and '14 GT500 spend most of their times in the garage while the Ecoboost Convertible is my daily driver. I love looking out the kitchen window on cold days and then clicking on the auto-start while I fix my coffee and hop in a Mustang a few minutes later with warm seats, the windows defrosted, and heater already blowing warm air. :worship:

See you in June. :smokin:

Not sure if we'll make it or not at this point.

Are we still planning on have the BBQ Friday night at the hotel? Probably need to figure out what we need. I don't think Haeg and Dawn will be there this year and they were our major logistical planners for the most part. :frown:

Not going to have any time to prep or bring chicken this year as I will be packing and getting stuff ready to fly out to Europe Saturday afternoon… probably just going to catch dinner out Thursday and Friday..

Any idea about how many people we'll be having for the BBQ?

NOt sure if we will have the BBQ doesn't sound like too many people, plus we only had 4 rooms for the block, so not even sure how many will be at the hotel.

Maybe we can just order PIZZA and wings or something once we know how many will be there. We should be in Thursday Afternoon sometime.

I got my room straight though the motel, I didn't use the M1R block of rooms. Also, Jenny Clor was asking me if we were going to have a BBQ Friday night. Her and John usually bring a few folks too. Pizza and wings would work for me.

I am available for Thursday and Friday dinners and plan to be at the showfield Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to a break. Insanely busy these days. Boss keeps telling me to not add anymore jobs and he adds them.

Sending my usual desert, and we can downsize it however y'all want. Just enjoy the company.
