$16,800 for a mach with less than 9,000 miles and $5,000 worth of extras! I thought this car would sell fast. Seen others selling for $18,000-$20,000 with minor bolt ons and alot more miles. Found another car, thats why I have the price so low. If car doesn't sell within 3 weeks, it will be raised to $18,000 and sit in storage until it sells.

I can't believe this mach isn't gone, that is an incredible deal. If I had the money i'd buy that right now. Maybe it would help if you listed more detailed info on the mods with brands and who did the engine build. Sounds like a sick deal. Good luck.

+1

THis car at that price is a steal to say the least.

I'd snatch this up in a hardbeat if I could. PERFECT platform for FI. Less than 20k you can have a boosted car done right.

Re: 03 red auto mach1,8,200 miles

Its just a DSS rotating assembely. Bought the car from a friend who installed nitrous and damaged a piston, I was going to only replace that one piston but once I got it tore down I decided to go ahead a build a good short block. It isn't a race engine or anything like that. I didn't want to put it back together with the factory weak pistons, rods, tty bolts, ect. I wasn't sure of my plans with the car like turbo, blower or just a daily driver. But I wanted to do the engine right the first time and be done. H beam rods, forged pistons with valve reliefs, new crank, bearings, all ARP bolts and studs. I haven't seen a Mach with less than 10,000 miles for the price I'm asking and you get alot extra. The guy I bought it from was going to install a turbo, thats why it has a tubler k member and a arms, to make room for the turbo. My friend didn't like the way the factory seats fit him so he took the factory seats out the day he bought it, wrapped them in plastic and put them in storage.I put them back in once I got the car,so the seats look brand new. They have been sat in very little. I saw a Mach this week at a dealer with 29,000 miles for 16,999. Its crazy that my car with all the extras and low miles hasn't sold yet.

Re: 03 red auto mach1,8,200 miles

I'm sure the right person will come along and buy it. I wouldn't be afraid to buy the car myself if I were looking and it was the right color, but I know there are a lot of people out there that just want a stock car and the fact the engine has had problems and was rebuilt already is a turn off to many others making it hard to sell. That and the market for cars right now isn't the best. It's a buyer's market for many things right now. People with money who aren't hurting from the economy can pick up some great deals on cars at the moment. Good luck with the sale, I'm sure you'll get it sold eventually so long as you aren't in a hurry.

Thanks. Yea, not in a hurry just thought it would sell fast for the price and the miles. I also know people might be afraid of a "engine rebuild" but then again they are getting a mach with 400 miles on the engine and it is ready for a power adder.

That's just it though......That car will be able to handle a good 600 rwhp, even with the cast iron crank.

YOu did it right and are asking a reasonable price.
