Wow, I didn't think the new Camaro could be uglier. Guess I was wrong.

That's just some guy's drawing. There's absolutely nothing official there.

It's someone's unofficial concept drawing, which obviously is based on the Camaro concept. I would think a muscle sedan would have a different profile.

People don't buy as many mainstream GM cars because of old perceptions around quality. Hopefully, the Camaro will put some stride back in the company's step.

That what I was saying. I don't see any retro style at all. Wouldn't know it was supposed to be a camaro unless someone said something.

Re: 2010 Chevy Impala

I like these quotes

"We expect the Impala to be very similar in style to the 1967 model.".... where ???

"Pauwels has produced what we believe is a very accurate rendition a "modern interpretation on a retro design" ala Camaro."...... I would say it doesnt even have anything retro about it... It looks all modern to me. If they are basing this vehicle on "modern retro" design just because of the grille or tail lights, someone needs to find a new job or be fired from it.

"Like the '67 Camaro, the '67 Impala also had headlights within the grille structure which was a common styling theme amongst both vehicles.".... So now we get to call this flaming bag of poo a 4 door Camzero. Looks like We're going to have the next runner up to the "Dodge Charger" and "GTO" lol lol

Yes GM has an image problem when it comes to quality, but that's not the only problem they suffer from. Most of GM's cars are just plain ugly and bland. Case in point, just look at what Chevy alone has to offer:

2007 Cobalt
2007 Implala
2007 Malibu
2007 Aveo

Everyone a stinker styling wise. Besides the Corvette, Chevy has nothing worth noting in the line of passenger cars, not a one. No contest whatsoever to what Toyota or Honda has to offer.

Another Camaro, makes you wonder what great plans they have for the GTO. Do these guys sit and think, man that GTO was ugly, lets make it look even worse and see if people still want to buy them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course. For example, I do like the "cute" Yaris-like styling of the Aveo sedan, the conservative, slightly curved lines of the Impala (which by the way reminds me of some of the previous Camrys and Accords) and the SS Cobalt coupe. I also think the HHR is distinctive. The Impala is the most bland, in my opinion.

I like the new Camry (finally, some aggressive styling!), but I have yet to warm up to the Civic. In my opinion, the greenhouse lines "overpower" the top of the car. What matters is that the target customers buy them!
