Re: Galpin Bad GT500
I'm getting ready to flat black the beater civic....I think by going with the flat black it should run heads up with that Shelby.....:23:

Re: Galpin Bad GT500
I have those same rims in gloss black in the mail for the mach. I have always wanted flat black with gloss black accents (i.e. stripes, rims, spoiler, graphics)
LOVE IT!!!!!! |
Re: Galpin Bad GT500
Not my cup of Tea, looks like they shot primer and could not afford to paint it.

Re: Galpin Bad GT500
I don't understand how it is flat black.........but also is clearcoated??? I'm assuming the clearcoat is merely a sealer coat??? Cuz otherwise, the dang thing would be shiny.

Re: Galpin Bad GT500
I've seen a satin black paint job on a modded S197 GT at a car show once. Had an old school stinger hood on it and some black torque thrusts with some wide rubber. It looked badazz.......much better than this Shelby. The GT500's just don't have that "Mad Max" styling to them. They're better off with stripes and shiny paint and all the trimmings. A base paint road warrior is supposed to be more understated.
