Going Turbo. Belt routing question.

I am going with a pair of PT6466s. My question is on belt routing on the Mach with no PS Pump or AC. How are you guys doing that? I do have an AC delete pulley that can stay on but I'd rather...

Re: How to change your 5 speed to an automatic

That I can't answer. Jerry Wroblewski had me go directly to the SYM2. I didn't experiment with anything else. The other path is to go with the new Baumann Quick 4 unit and leave your current EEC...

Re: How to change your 5 speed to an automatic

You need to talk to Darrin about what you plan to do with your car and have him give you a price. On the EEC, if you plan to turn much over 6K at WOT I would go with the Mach 1 processor. It's faster...

Re: How to change your 5 speed to an automatic

Don't think Darrin missed anything. The only other thing I would check is be sure the headers you have on the car, if any, will clear an automatic. Stock exhaust manifolds won't be a problem, but...

Re: 9s and 139mph with a fully automatic 4R70W

It was hard when I did it because I was basically the first one to try it. You need to get an SYM2 or some other Mach automatic processor. They are the only ones fast enough to handle the shifts in...

Re: 9s and 139mph with a fully automatic 4R70W

Holy Cow man. This is an old thread. But the transmission from Darrin is still in my car working away happily with a ton of passes over the years. The car now traps 150 mph and will be in the 8s very...

Re: Parting out 3 mach 1's.

Thanks for checking anyway! All I need to build a forged motor for the wife's Mach is a forged crank. They are all stupid priced right now, made in China or re-machined junk. If you hear of any...

Re: Parting out 3 mach 1's.

I'll purchase the engine harness if it isn't sold yet. Also interested in an 8-bolt crankshaft if you're parting out the motors. Lastly what's the status on the ABS modules? Do you still have one of...

Re: MACH 1 Go-Fast Goodies for sale...

And where in Florida is Tally-ho? If it exists, Google hasn't found it, which means it doesn't exist until they do. I spent 55 years in Florida and I've never heard of it.

Re: MACH 1 Go-Fast Goodies for sale...

Have you sold this inlet tube? I assume the one with the procharger kit went with the kit.

Re: ABS Pump Delete Brake Manifold

Sure wish there was a way to get rid of that %^*$%# ABS light in the tuning. Anyone know a good solution for killing that light short of taking a hammer to it?

Phil, I got your email reply. 3-4 weeks is absolutely OK. Just wanted to be sure you were out there. Thanks for the reply.

That's somewhat encouraging. I dropped him an email just after I posted. So far no answer, but it hasn't been that long. Yet. I actually deleted my ABS a while back but this looks to be a much...

Re: ABS Pump Delete Brake Manifold

I just ordered a block from him then read the end of the thread. Is he becoming a problem as a supplier? Is there anyone that hasn't seen their parts yet?

Re: 3" Flow Tube, Intermediate Pipe

Straight pipe won't work and then you need the ends to be correct. I could have a shop fab them but that can get expensive.

Re: 3" Flow Tube, Intermediate Pipe

The only thing I can dig-up on the NAPA site are 2.5" tubes. What part number are you seeing?

Re: 3" Flow Tube, Intermediate Pipe

Thanks. I was already looking at the MAC 3" Pro Dump system, but it's aluminized, not stainless. I may just go with the Pro Dump if I can't find a stainless flow tube. Aluminized really hates race...
