Mach Traded!

Just traded for a used '06 G.T. Couldn't pass up a cheaper payment, and it DOES have more room for my big ***. Starting to have knee trouble too, so the automatic is kind of a blessing. I enjoyed my...

In a nutshell: screaming yellow in '04 and zinc yellow in '03. competition orange only in 2004. Fortieth anniversary fender badges in '04, running horse and tri bar emblem on fender in '03. Black...

Re: Was Anyones 03 Built After 7-28-03

My black 2003 was built 7/28/2003 as well. Coincided with my mother's birthday. This car is special to me for just that reason, as she passed away two years ago. The dates on the glovebox and at the...

Re: Shelby Gt Fender Emblems

Those are the ones! CJ Pony Parts has some that are just like them for about 30.00 each. I also saw a link on another forum or site to a guy who was making them for about the same price. I could find...

Shelby Gt Fender Emblems

Anybody try these on their Mach fenders? I think that they are the coolest part of this new car, and would like to put them on my Mach fenders if they will cover the holes. If anyone has tried this,...

Re: Gas Mileage

Ralph, I agree with you. I actually work in parts for my dealer, but the service writer told me there wasn't much he could do. Even the techs seem at a loss. I may go in tomorrow and talk to a...

Re: Fading ram air scoop

Go to Helminc. for your owner's manual. That is who the dealers use for publications. They will sell to the general public as well.

Re: failed emissions

There everybody goes again! He has already took it to one garage that told him he needed to have it checked out. While a dealer doesn't always help with a problem, (witness my gas mileage thread in...

Gas Mileage

I bought a 2006 v-6 auto Mustang about a year ago. It has about 6,000 miles on it now. This car gets no better than 16 m.p.g. in town, no matter what you do or how you drive. My wife drives it 99% of...

Re: Tightening Shift Knob

A thin jam nut is hard to find. Went to Lowe's and all they had in 12x1.75 was a standard hex nut. It works, but not like I'd like it to. The best thing is to get a knob with no markings, like a Fat...

Re: tragedy @ kids for cars event

The video to me looks like he never clamped the trans brake. These cars are nothing but funny cars with doors instead of flopper bodies. 3000+ hp easy. This guy had NO business whatsoever performing...

Re: My good buddy passed this morning...

Sorry to hear that man. My best friend passed three months ago. Only nine years older than me, but his health and weight were always an issue. You still don't know how to prepare. You can't prepare....

Re: Mach Sticker kit question!

How can you have looked everywhere for them and not bothered to ask the Ford dealer? That way, you can be sure they are correct and not some half assed copy. People always amaze me when they come in...

Re: Bucking, hesitation problem???

Had the same problem; turned out to be a bad coil on no. 2. You just need someone with the proper software to determine which one is bad. Put a coil and plug in that cylinder and be done with it....

Re: Crappy American Cars? Perhaps...

I worked for a Toyota store for seven years. While their quality is good, I feel that it isn't up to the standards that everybody says that it is. My wife had a Solara in 2004 that the paint was...

Re: MAC Midpipe/Headers

Well, as they say, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. I personally like my Mac catback system; it went together easily with no leaks and looks and sounds great. The biggest deal was the...
