I cant believe I didnt post finished results in here. I did have some of the parts painted at the local body shop. The hood shroud and the rear firewall cover were both sanded and painted the body...

mine are the frpp ones with the texture finish and they arent bad to clean. I actually find they hide dirt better. The stock ones would show dirt big time even the littlest of dirt. these look good...

Mine have been off for two days on one side. everything is covered in oil so corrosion isnt an issue and as long as you keep small sockets away you should be fine. Cover everything just to be safe...

I dont get to see this post much but if anyone is interested in the stock valve covers I should have mine off by sunday and would be willing to sell for a good price. Make an offer.....hoping for...
