as to the rest of the set up most of it sounds good. The things I would change.....these cars don't tend to like pulleys. Some here will swear they cause no problems however enough people have had problems that they're not worth it for the small power gain in my opinion. If you want the engine bay to look a little nicer consider the C&L intake instead of the K&N. Almost same power gains except it looks alot nicer. I've heard of people worried about "heat soak" with it being metal, but the air moves through it too fast to make any kind of difference...
Thanks. I've actually had the pulleys for 2 yrs with out any problem. I actually believe its a combination of pulleys and revving past 7000 that causes pump problems from everything I've read online. Having a black car with black valve covers the K&N looks like it belongs in the engine bay more to me, though I to like the C&L piece.

I totally agree with you about the heat soak, for my other car(escort) I have the Roush intake which is aluminum, and most the best dyno ant track proven intakes for its are aluminum, in fact only 1 intake for the escort was plastic and that was the Ford Racing intake.
