Originally, I used normal braided line and AN fittings. Less than 100 miles later, as I was backing into a car space, the line blew right out of the fitting and I had to be towed home. These lines need to be rated for very high pressure, hose clamps and barbed fittings are a terrible idea. If nothing else, take your line to a hydraulic hose shop (We have a Parker store around here) and have them custom make you a line.
thanks for the info, I just ordered the same setup and will be replacing my Aeroquip hose with this one. I like the security of the added PSI capability. I looked up the PSI limits for the Startlite hose, it is only 500psi, the one you listed above is 2500 for those wondering.
