FYI, I just called and spoke to Julio; I am 5'th on the waiting list for a set (either black or stock grey, whichever comes in first). Apparently, the 10.5" MAC Black rims have been manufactured and are sitting some where overseas awaiting shipment; yes, another "2 months" or so before they are available here. We shall see.
Indeed Julio is aware that there is a large pent up demand for these rims, especially the stock grey, but the offshore manufacturer is unwilling, for whatever reason, to manufacture the stock grey versions (and I'm guessing the same deal for the blacks). As has been mentioned by pony40 (and others?), it appears that AFS's inventory of non-Mach 1 wheels needs to be sold, or a significant portion thereof, before the offshore manufacture "will listen to us" (us = AFS).
