Whipple Mach1? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Out of all The mach1s on this forum who i boosted. I did a screach i didnt find one with a whipple... A HEaton here or there, and so many prochargers but nothing... So whats up why doesnt anyone have one?

I myself am looking at one.

Whipple 2.3 Supercharger
HeatExchanger
Forged Rods and Pistons (So i can crank the boost up)
Fuel upgrades: Pump, and injectors
New Sparkplugs
03Cobra upper intake manifold and etc.
Gauges of course.
And a Tune.

Anything esle? Any place to check them out, besides thier offical website?

I know the Eaton Fits, under the shaker with some fabacation. (sp?) I think this is bigger though.

I'm looking into the whipple or a KB for the truck... but I haven't seen anything about a whipple Mach either.

Should be a badazz ride though

Well I know KB has a kit coming out soon or it is out. But i can get this whipple for cheap if i do it. And its black and i dunno i just like that brand.

i am also looking at a whipple 2.3l . but i am wondering if it will fit under my shaker cuz i like the stock look. gives me the sleeper effect

we are out there , it's just not common do to the add cost. There is no kit and you will need a built bottom end , complete fuel system and all the conversion parts(do a search for Eaton conversion for a list of parts).

yes we are. You just take the parts listed on the Eaton Conversion, remove the eaton and add the whipple. Sounds simple, but the whipple adds a bit more to the bottom line because of the extra stuff you need as mentioned by fas4d.

We're on here for sure...i think there's 5-6 whipple machs on the forum (maybe more...)

As indicated earlier, its not a kit from whipple. In my case, I took the drivetrain from a wrecked 03 Cobra for mine, but others have bought the pieces to perform the conversion.

understand that the whipple is the "upgrade" for the eaton... it bolts directly in place

you need all of the parts to do an eaton conersion.. then just buy a $3000 whipple instead of a used $500 eaton..
Whipple will make a minimum of 8psi... the guys who get whipples are usually the ones looking for over 500 rwhp...

there was a guy selling a mach that had a whipple... he had the shaker on... pbviously not functional

I have the whipple 3.4l on my mach basically just eaton swap and swapped blowers. i kept the stock hood to, had to bolt scoop to hood but worked out great and havent had any problems.

well im wanting to use whichever kit it is for the cobra with the 2.3l . cuz i just love the look of the shaker. keeps my car from looking like these gts an v6 mustangs . but another thing i like the price of the whipple i found it on lethal performance for $3200

Unless you have a minimum of $10,000 to spend look elsewhere. Once you figure in the cost of the Whipple, the 03-04 Cobra parts to make it work, a built shortblock, and your fuel system that money is all gone and then some.
