Olympic Medal Count - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I am watching the Olympics and I am looking at the medal count.

China sure has alot of Gold. My question is when a team wins a medal, does that count as 1 medal? Or does each team members' medal count as 1?

medal count should be 1 medal per event whether its 1 person or a team

IMO I think China is cheating somehow, don't know how but something is fishy with this Olympics (and its not just with the medal count)...never did I see them win SO MANY gold until it was held in THEIR country.

Actually they have been steadily winning more medals for the past 3 Summer Olympics. When you are programming your athletes beginning at age 3 you're bound to make some perfect robots. And if you watched the women's diving you'd be hard pressed to find better divers. On the other hand I'm still hoping something happens with the underage gymnasts as that is blatant cheating.

What would really impress me was if they won all the Track & Field events!
