Narrowing Stock Wheels

I need some skinnies for the front and was kicking around the idea of having a pair of stock Mach wheels narrowed. Not sure if anyone has done this, how skinny you could go, and how much$$? Figured this might be a sweet looking set up especially since the AFS 10.5s are back out there. What do you think?

Re: Narrowing Stock Wheels

My buddy just looked into it having his 18s narrowed to 6" and it was $250 a wheel.

Re: Narrowing Stock Wheels

Ive been thinking about doing the same thing.

17x4.5-5 on front with a 17x10 rear.

It would be a good clean look.

Any idea how much weight would be saved by doing this?

not really much..corey did a weight compare and it was only 1.2 pds redux...not really worth it if your only looking for weight loss.

Re: Narrowing Stock Wheels

That's what i plan to do, i actually e-mailed Jame's and he said maybe a 5 inch rim and 225 per rim.I think with my deep dish rear's and the narrowed front's it will look subtle and be a good compromise between big and little's and keep a somewhat stock look.
