Re: The Future?
i hoep thats not the car of the future...i think it would suck if in 10-20 years all cars will be hydrogen or fuel cells. i think it would make driving extrememly boring. What about people like us wanting to modify our cars and such. I dont think you can do that with that GM car. I can only imagine what a Ford Mustang willl look like in 20-30 years.

Re: The Future?
Go Tesla!
Booo GM! Seriously, why is it that the majority of "electric", "green", "hybrid" cars look like futuristic rubbermaid appliances? Just because you change the way it works inside, doesn't mean you have to change the outside!!!

Re: The Future?
umm cars that run on electric motors will be faster on the track than a gas motor
there is no hp or tourque curv the power is instant on ! the problem would be hooking up I attended a seminar on hybryd technology today at work one company (orion) said they had complaints on the busses they build had TOO much power

Re: The Future?
^^^^ The problem is NEVER too much power, just not enough traction!

Re: The Future?
I hope the future holds something like this:
http://www.oilgae.com/ We produce 46% of the oil we use here in the USA, of the 54% we import, a large percentage comes from Canada and Mexico, not from the middle east. If an emerging technology like this could be developed to just supply a percentage of our energy needs, then we can tell Hajji to go pound sand up his a$$. That would be a happy day.
