Speaking of "Adjusted MArket Value"...... - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

....I was at the local Ford store yesterday. I went for an oil change, and my friend bought an F150 SuperCrew. While I was waiting, I saw an 06 Mustang GT Deluxe, dark gray. This car had the UGLIEST tan leather inside of it. It looked crappy with the charcoal doors, dash, console and carpet. Then I looked on the passenger window. There it was, plain as day. GAWD, I started laughing uncontrollably. A $5000 mark up! On a car with a friggin REBATE!!!! I asked the sales mgr if that add sheet was overlooked, and he said NO! He actually thinks he can get $5K OVER STICKER on an 06 Mustang GT Deluxe (not even a premuim!). He also said that someone will see that sticker and think they are getting a deal if they pay MSRP for it. MORONS I tell ya!! They must really be attached to that Stang. They'll NEVER sell it.

You trust a dealership to change your oil....you have more guts than I thought.

Funny....Ford and most dealerships are trying to get the 06s out, and this DS wants to keep it there.

I used to work at that particular stealership, so I know the dudes behind in the service bays. I trust them with the Mach, and besides, they owed me an oil change (synthetic) anyway.

There will always be idiots out there who will pay sticker or above on a new car, and that's what the stealerships count on.
