custom driveshaft ?
Put in a c4 measured from the bottom of the tail on the trans to the bottom of the rear end flange and it measuredx 51 1/8.
Talked to a driveshaft shop and he talked about a 3" driveshaft and 1330 u joints? Does that sound right?

Re: custom driveshaft ?
If I were you, I would change out the piece on the axle to one off of a 03/04 cobra or f-150 so he can build you a driveshaft using 1350 u-joints on the trans end, and axle end.....much stronger u-joint.

Re: custom driveshaft ?
Wouldent i have to take that to a rear end shop to do?
He said something about there being a crush sleve that there is a 50/50 chance of me having to replace it

Re: custom driveshaft ?
You shouldn't have to put a new crush sleeve in, Torque the Pinion nut to spec and you will be fine, its no different than if you were to change the pinion seal.

Re: custom driveshaft ?
X2.......You should be fine, but if you don't trust it, put another crush collar init, and set it back up.
