Re: which ones?
i live in Florida and we get a ton of rain in the summer... i have the NT05s and they are awesome in the rain! the only downside is they only last about 15000 miles... but i love them!

Re: which ones?
Original stock size is 245/45/17. Just a little bit taller sidewall profile.

Re: which ones?
hmmm would the 40 sidewall on stock wheels and height look stupid? because 45s already are kinda a big wheel gap.

Re: which ones?
I'm also looking at the nitto invo's because the nt05's tread rating is 200 and the invo's are 260. I'm using them on the street for daily driving and i don't want to change tires every year that's all.

Re: which ones?
i have the invo's. they are great but when the temps get into the mid 40's and under you loose alot of grip.as for rain grip they are great as long as you don't give it to much gas.

Re: which ones?
well if you think the gap is big then why would you want to get a shorter tire?

my boss has them on his 97 Cobra... hes had them over a year and they are in GREAT shape! i think it depends on how you drive. Im on track to get about 20-25,000 miles out of mine... it is such a good tire I'll deal with having to change them every 16-18 months...

Re: which ones?
alright i was going to get the bf goodrich kdw2's but their pretty pricey. so i would like some opinions on these two tires that im looking at right now. i want a grippy tire for wet and dry but i also want these tires to last more than a year.

Re: which ones?
The Cooper Zeon 2XS tire I just replaced had about 21k miles on them, about the same as the previous set I had of the same tires. I replaced these with Hankook Ventus Evo V12 tires. Good treadwear, and a surprisingly good ride and very quiet. They have good steering response and seem to handle well in the dry. I haven't really pushed them in the wet but they haven't given me any nasty surprises, either. C&D did a tire test with them and they rated right wiht the base-line Michelins they tested againt.
