21 years and 150,000 miles ago
It's been a heck of a ride so far, but it's actually been 21 years and 150,000 miles since I picked up my TR '03 Mach 1 at Amite City Ford. Dealership is gone, but the car is still moving along. It needs some TLC, some paint work, some interior work and some mechanical attention but it gets me to work three days a week (rotating with my Boss 302) and still is too fun to drive not to enjoy it.

This is awesome to see you still daily drive your SN95 Mach 1. Congrats!
Happened to see a Torch Red Mach in Santa Fe early in November on a road trip from Texas to Nevada. It's the only one I've seen on the road "in the wild" for many years. Hate admitting that mine sat in the garage way too long again this year... from early spring (March) to Thanksgiving. When I took it for a cruise around Thanksgiving the tires were not happy, a little bouncy and unstable due to flat spots until it had been on the road a bit to soften them up. Went for another cruise last weekend and it was happy again. Still enjoy driving it. |

Glad to hear you're still putting it out on the road. I see a local Azure car from time to time, but that's about the only one. Keep enjoying the ride!

I’m only 120k miles and mine only gets a day or two a week now as I’m in the 21 most of the time or my Bronco Sport when my daughter doesn’t steal it…
Still makes me smile every time I drive the car…

Re: 21 years and 150,000 miles ago
Sold mine last September (2022) and regret it. At the time, I was really ready to buy something new (~2020 Mach or brand new GT). With the prices still elevated higher than I figured they'd be, I didn't end up buying another Mustang. What I didn't expect was how badly I would miss the raw feel of driving the Mach, even though it was only 1,500 to 2,500 miles a year. I wish I would have just kept it lol.

No time like to present to find another one. There are still some nice, low mileage Mach 1s out there to be had. Go for it!

Re: 21 years and 150,000 miles ago
This June will be 21 years for me.
My Mach is at around 48k miles. Haven't really driven her much since 2021, but still so enjoy when I do.
