lots of noise without isolators

Okay, am I the only one that has this issue??.... Second new edge mustang I have taken isos out and got a lot of chirping, I even took the time to wrap springs in electrical tape. I am not that worried about it but its a pain I have to put them back in. Do you think I would have to do another alignment if I put some rubber isos in? If so maybe I will just wait to get the new K member and all that in.

Re: lots of noise without isolators

I never had any issues without isolators. Seems like every once and a while someone will complain about it increasing noise but it seems to be rare.

Anyway, I'm thinking if you put the isolators back in, you may need an alignment. I don't think it would be too out of whack, but I would personally have it done if I did it.

Re: lots of noise without isolators

I wrapped mine in electrical tape on my old mustang, occasionally I found I had to re-wrap it to prevent it from squeeking again. My buddy plasti-dipped the ends of his springs when he pulled out the isolators, he never had a problem.

Definitely not trying to sell you short, but some people really don't know - Did you double check that springs were seated correctly? Did you look into the upper spring perches before install? Mine had a surprising amount of dirt/debris. Any play in the shocks or struts?
