Just got some black chrome Saleens!!! - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Just ordered some in 18x9 and 18x10. I also picked up some cobra side skirts, alumnuim drive shaft, intake spacer and MRT hood struts. Now i just have to get home from this deployment and install them lol. Anybody give some advice on what tires to pick up im thing about BFG KDW's. What size do you think i should get?

275-40-18 for the front and 305-35-18 is the correct fitment for those wheels.

Thanks man im checking off my wish list slowely but it's comming togther.

Anybody know how 265/35R18 295/35R18 would fit? There are set for sale in the for sale section that seem like a good deal.

Yea man those sizes will fit fine. Even though people frown on this...When I get my new back tires I am getting 285's Nitto 555. But plently of my friends have that size and it looks good to me.

Yes they will fit. I used to have the same size KDWs on my car. Just to let you know, after a couple thousand miles, they'll develop an aweful road noise. That's why I switched to Nittos.

I just bought Nitto's for my rims. they are best and do not cost that much. IMO

Yeah i have nitto 315's on my 17x10.5 i really liked them but i didnt think they handled corners to well. I wanted this set-up to be for the streets and i was gonna have my stock rims cut smaller to 17x8' and then have the 17x10.5 in the back. This was going to be my track set-up. This road noise that you speak of does BFG know about this?

Oh very nice. Those were the wheels I was looking at getting as well. I'm stuck between the saleen black chrome or the FR500 black chrome 18x9/10s.

I have 265/35/18 in the front with coil overs adjusted all the way down. For the rears in that pic I had 305/35/18, but my fenders cut them, so I went down to 285/35/18. I wish Nitto mad 295s. The springs for the rear are H&R SS springs.

Swervo, wow is all I can say. That looks NASTY. Definitely look darker than most of the pictures of black chrome FR500's I've seen... must be the lighting

Well guy's just got done talking to stag 3 motorsports and they said the black chrome saleens they had did not match. It was going to be a 40-65 day wait on them. So i just decided to go with the black chrome FR500's.
