Re: Sticky Suspension Thread
So for those of us that are new to building a car....
I want to start building my Mach1 with the end result in mind, not do a little, and want more later. Just want to build it for around 650RWHP and start from the beginning. That being said what kind of suspension mods are recommended for a built rear end, and front. I want to keep the car a 5 speed, and don't intend on competing on the track for all intensive purposes. Not saying that I won't take it there, but not going to on a regular basis. If someone could make up a detailed list of parts for a built rear end I would really appreciate it. I have done some looking around and know that you need 31 spline axles, but alot of what I read is greek to me as well. Also if anyone is from Iowa or knows a good shop in Iowa to do some of the work at I would appreciate a recommendation.

I'm new to suspension, so I might have some dumb question. But my goal is to have a great handling car, and I know coilovers will be the way to get there. I'd prefer not to have to get the whole kit, meaning the rear, cus on the mm site the whole kit is over 1k I believe. Edit: Think I may have posted this in the wrong section. Appologies if I did. Nice! This is the exact drop I'm looking for. SVE springs are still for sale on LMR, but they say "new improved". Wonder what's different? IG: @azurebluemach

Re: Sticky Suspension Thread
Hey guys I have a 03 Mach and I'm wanting to do the upr
k member with tubular a arms bumpsteer kit and coil overs.kinda need some direction on what coil overs and struts. From what I've read 12-250 on coils is what I might like for ride height.. I'm wantin to just do h&r springs in the back.. basically I want the ride height if eibach sport line with coil overs out front instead.. anyone who has this set up and can give me a good list of what parts to get to achieve this would be my hero lol .. money isn't really a issue but I wanna stay reasonable. Also I plan on running fr 500 18x10 18x9 staggered with nt05 drags in the back 305,35/18 unless I can squeez a 315 out back? and 555's in the front 265/35/18 just thought I'd add that Incase of fitment issues.. car will see about 3,000 miles a year 95% street thanks gents |
