bank fraud

so today i went to go use my debit card and what do you know it wouldn't work, i went to a couple other places and it wouldn't work at all
so i got on the bank account online to check it out. there were 4 total purchases made three yeasterday and one today.
one was on wal-mart.com
three was made at Tilly's, CA
the total they stoled was about $1700 bucks
my wife was right by the bank and come to find out that these payments were still pending and that is why my card wasn't working, the bank cancel my card
so i had the paper work emailed to me and signed it and emailed it back,
perfect timing cuz i'm leaving in a few days to come to TX and so i have no card and the wife had to wirer me cash so i have money for the trip, pretty gay and is going to take about 10days for the bank to give me back my money, just ****ing gay :banghead:
kills me when people do this **** and sad and those people need a hand cut off or something,
its sad they stoled from me, its sad they stoled from a soldier, and its sad they stole from a wounded Vet

Re: bank fraud

This **** is everywhere, it just happened to my wife a few weeks ago but they only did a couple small charges before she caught it. I personally use cash for day to day stuff and only use my AM EX online and for large purchases. I never use my debit a restaraunts or gas statins.

Re: bank fraud

Happens all the time. Happened to us a few years ago. Sad thing is they will never get charged bc technically they didn't steal your card. That's what the police told me. I did enough searching and found who had used my number and the guy admitted when the police went there. Bottom line is they said I got my money back. The bank got their money back from Insurance so everyone's happy.

Hopefully they have changed the laws now bc like I said this was 5 years ago when it happened to me.

You know you have played too much MW2...when.
You instinctively grab your co-workers briefcase, fumble around with it for a few seconds, throw it out the window and yell,"BOMB DEFUSED!

New rules and laws actually consider this a federal crime as its usually used out of states. Gotta watch out. People put carbon paper or readers in atms which snap a pic of your card. They have all they need.
