How to extend ps hose line? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Just about done with my eaton swap and I just have some wiring left to do and the ps hose.

How do I extend this line? I was talking to a guy in autoZone(most are clueless) and he said he doesn't know how to either because the lines hold a ton of pressure. How did you guy do it?

I can buy about a foot of hose but I don't know how I'd connect the existing line to the new one with a proper seal/connection to it
