You're using a NOVI 2000 right? What intercooler you using? So Dave has the fastest mod motor Renegade car? Probably because of the BIG intake spacer I made him!lol.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1
When my car was being tuned by him for the 200 shot, I talked to him for a good hour about what I was going to do with the car and what I'd need to do. Fuel rails never came up. I MAY need a boost a pump. I have enough injector and a good twin pump setup.

Do you remember what size belt you used? I'm attempting a 106.5" belt.

Yep, I did everything myself and plan on finishing it myself. Hence why I don't expect it to be done anytime soon. I'm taking my sweet sweet time.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1
Cool. Hope to see you there! I'm really curious about your setup. I'll have to talk to you about it at FFC. That trap speed is really high for 560 rwhp. I only trapped 121 with 430 rwhp and 124 with 480 rwhp. I'm guessing 560 would only get me to around 130 with a lighter car than yours.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1
So, since everyone is here, anyone wanna let me know if I'm close in my amounts?
Anyone have any ideas on the cost for the following or give recommendations? 1) F1 (~$1,400 - $2,100) 2) 60# injectors ~$300? 3) Built shortblock ~$3,000? (Or should I just get forged pistons / crank / rods / ARP studs and keep the block?) Looking for the best value here. 4) I imagine I would need to build-up my tranny a little bit, but that can be considered later. Would like to be in the 525-600 rwhp range on 91 octane (if possible). Thanks to anyone that replies. |

Re: Replacing P1 with F1
I drive an auto and plan on having a "700rwhp" tranny built by Darrin installed before this stuff goes in. My numbers for the F1 are net of selling my P1. I don't plan on doing the engine build myself.
Thanks for the feedback. |

Im using 160s i think Cory is running 83s Use your existing block and that number should be fine I was using a TKO600 with a Spec 3+ Not going to be able to run 91 Im using 93 only because i have a stand alone Cory runs 100 Im not saying it cant be done , but is it safe ? Or is it worth it ? The biggest issue with the F1 is belt slip . I converted to the 8 rib and tried multiple tactics . I personally wasnt happy enough with the results . An auto will work much better with the 8 rib then a manual . Im the Cogboy as M1M puts it . Oh well you dont hear me complain about belt slip or breaking belts anymore .
