New toy
92 LX notchback with 86 gt bumpers/seats pretty much rust free. Took a magnet to all the normal bondo areas and as far as i found it was body filler free. Going to be a project car/money pit. Not sure of what all im going to do to it. Gutted the interior today except for the dash. Chased wires to get things working that were messed up(power mirror and window switches). This is my first restoration.
Before any of you ask yes i still have the Mach This is to keep my hands off of the Mach lol

Re: New toy
Thats wicked.
Ive been looking to try to trade my rock crawler for a 85-86 GT. I had one a couple of years ago and really miss it. I think the 4 eyed stangs are the next classics.

Re: New toy
Nice project, starting with a solid body is the best way to go and you save tons of cash. This should be fun... Put a coyote or roadrunner in there!!!
good luck!

Re: New toy
Looks good. Congrats. It is kinda interesting that they changed all of the body mouldings to match the 86' bumpers. I'm struggling with the idea of picking up a local 91 LX vert myself.

Re: New toy
Sweet! I always like to see people have fun with the older Stangs instead of junking them.

Re: New toy
Looks good and sounds like a fun progect. Will you be converting it back to the correct bumpers?

Re: New toy
Nah i like it this way. Not many newer foxes I see are converted to 4eyes. Kinda think the lights are brighter than the 87-93 style. Also when one gets hit with a rock its cheaper to replace.
