I'm like not a gt, I don't mind if it has resemblance to an Aston Martin. Over all, I like the 2015. I think the aftermarket is going to be interesting. I think there are going to be more front and rear bumper offerings than we've seen on any of the Mustangs in the past.

No modified 10 mode stability control(ON for the streets, OFF at the track or fun backroads, I don't need something in between), no track apps, etc.
The base GT with cloth seats is priced at $32,100. Track Apps and 14" brakes are standard. If you want a suspension upgrade, then the GT performance pack is the option to include at $2495. You then get Brembo brakes with 15" rotors, staggered wheels with summer performance tires, adjusted stability control, 3.73 rear with Torsen differential, 2 gauges in the dash, and spoiler delete, along with suspension changes.

This compares favorably in price to the current MSRPs on the 2014s.

Talked to someone today and they said the local dealer still didn't have the paperwork/data yet to order a new 2015.

You are smarter than the average bear! Yes, I did in fact put in an order for a 2015 GT fastback optioned as follows.

2015 Ford Mustang GT Fastback w/6-speed manual transmission
Magnetic metallic color
dark saddle interior color with leather seats
spoiler delete
18” Foundry Low-Gloss Paint/Machined-Aluminum Wheels
mats, all-weather
3.55 ltd slip
enhanced security pkg
spare wheel/tire

It will look similar to the photos attached, except it will be spoilerless.

I like the way it looks WITHOUT one. This is one of the few Mustangs that I have seen in the last 2 generations that I like spoilerless.

I am scheduled to be watching said pace car this weekend

In other news, the 2015 online configurator is available. It still has a few thing missing, but it's entertaining.

Re: 2015 Mustang

Hmm the new model still looks a bit like a hatch back at the rear, but will no doubt grow on me in time, simply because its a mustang.
Google: 1994 mazda mx6 coupe, notice a resemblance?

Re: 2015 Mustang

After seeing several Fusions since seeing the 2015 at Carlisle, I'm starting to think they should change the name from Mustang to Fustang. I really like the way the car looks and I like the Fusions, I just think the Mustang should have a look of its own that can in no way be confused for another model at any angle.

Reminds me a bit of the 71-73 Mach 1s in that regard. I liked them better without the spoiler.

Price? What does it have over a GT besides 1,964 made? I definitely like special production cars, but if it's just appearance things, then to me it would'nt be worth the extra coin.

Re: 2015 Mustang

The actual anniversary car will have not only a unique interior combination, but to me the most interesting thing is the 3 vent style quarter window glass. It took a lot of work for Ford to get it made, but I think it's pretty cool.

Its the only way to get a 2015 with Performance Pack in an Auto.

Only other way to get PP is with a manual....can't handle a stick any more.

The wheels ARE unique to the 2015, the 50th Ann APPEARENCE Package wheels are different.

Price?!?!? Sticker, no dealer markup!!!

Also, if you get the ragtop version it'll be 1 of 1.

Check out the '15/'16 mock up done with the high dollar snap version...very cool, and could almost convert me!
