Re: 10.5 wheels are back at afs

Very nice wheels indeed!

After viewing the pics in this thread, and the pics in another thread with those wheels mounted on a Mach 1, I am really thinking of getting the MAC black wheels instead of waiting (another "2 months", yeah sure) for the stock grey versions.

I am seriously thinking of getting a pair of the 10.5" and a pair of 9", mounted with the Veredstein (sp?) tires. Seems like a great deal especially when comparing against buying similiar tires in Canada.

The recent batch of 40 sets sold out very quickly; before I even knew they were back in stock, and I search eBay and www.afswheels.com fairly frequently. Isn't this evidence enough for AFS Wheels to quickly stock the black and stock grey Mach 1 rims?!

So, is Julio _really_ maintaining some sort of waiting list for the 17x10.5 MAC Black (and grey?) Mach 1 wheels?

Yes I do no pics yet, I actually found a video on youtube an AB with chrome Machh1 wheels and that is why I went chrome. I realize they are hard to keep clean, my car is a weekend car at best anyway. Seen the black chrome before and looks awesome also.

Here is my guess, The economy is not good enough to justify buying 100 sets. When they order wheels to me made they make them in all Mustang types. They may aim more at the newer Mustangs than at older ones. They might of ordered 40 sets of Mach wheels but 60 sets of another. From what I made of my conversion over the phone it could take a couple of months or even longer depending on when they sell most or all wheels. I wouldn't count of the stock color in the near future and they won't order just the Mach wheels even though they probably sold out in 45 mins. They probably want the money generated from sales to pay for the next shipment and won't order until enough are sold to cover costs. Maybe with the economy the way it is they may not even sell enough to even order leaving the ones who missed out to have to wait longer. The best way to answer your questions on when they will have them or if the stock will be back is to call them. Get it straight from the horses mouth. I was told I was number 3 on the list. If anyone adds to the list ask him how many are ahead of you. I would like to know.

dude you couldnt have said it better.. no idea myself. Since that batch sold so fast I am guessing their going to recognize the demand for them and bump them up to 250 each. But than again, they dont seem to good at recognizing things ha

Re: 10.5 wheels are back at afs

I hate this thread. I keep trying to tell myself I don't need 2 sets of wheels. I love the black saleens but i love the stockers in 18s with black inserts.

Do they have 18x10.5s DDs? Or even regulars?

The 17X10.5's Mach 1 wheels seem to be a bit wider than my 18X10 bullits.
