I recently saw pics of a Black 69 mach with red stripes and I liked it. Can someone photo chop me some red strips on this pic...

Ya, they look painted, and they look pretty damm good. I like the red, but would like to see a pic of the stripes in gold. I always thought black stripes on a black car was kinda weird.

That looks great, i want those wheels also. If i do this I would go a little darker. Does anyone make custon stripes like this or do I have to have them painted on?

Yeah..the paint definitely looks better...the gloss really helps the look.

Don't know if you've seen the information about the new Shelby Red Stripe package (on white or black cars only), but it is gorgeous! Check it out on Blue Oval News ( www.blueovalnews.com ), also there is a '69 Mach 1 on the cover (and inside as a feature) of the latest issue of Muscle Machines. Always has been my favorite color combo on vintage Machs, and if Ford had done this as a factiry deal, they would have sold twice the black Mach's as they did...

I joined this site in the begining, Sept 02, because a freind had ordered a Mach 1. He had a '69 R code Mach in black and he wanted to have an 03 R code in black to match. This thread reminds me of one he had after his Mach came in...Take a look and enjoy a classic early registry thread!

Saw that car on svtperformance and it looks badass!!!! Anyone know what suspension mods on it? I want my car stance to look like that.

Bill, I saw this done on a Mach at the FFW in Dinwiddie, VA a couple of years ago. I snapped a couple of pics. Give me a few days to dig them up and I'll get them posted. It was sweet looking, almost factory looking. Only problem is the side scoop interferes. They even had the trunk lid done in the same theme.

I agree. But, that's my opinion.

I like the subdued look with the blacks. You'll know the perceptive people when they see the stripes and are surprised Ford did the Mach again. Some, you have to point it out to them. "Mach 1, see?"<-----while pointing to the sticker.

The red painted on does look very nice though.
