Re: Red rims on a red mach?

Yes, AFS makes red rims but it's an anodized red finish which would look like crap on a Torch Red car. IMO, red rims look like crap regardless of the shade of red but it's your car... whatever floats your boat.

Re: Red rims on a red mach?

Maybe red rims on a black Mach! But please not on a red Mach. In my own opinion NO RED! Black wheels look sweet on red Machs. I agree. It's not a RICER! Don't make it look like one. But it's your car..

I don't think you'll see another one like it, if you go that way.

You don't see many lambo door equipped Mach1's, there is a reason.

Reviewing the options is good! I hope you go FR500 in black or Anthracite because they just look awesome. Post some pics when you're done, you only have to make yourself happy.

Re: Red rims on a red mach?

Here's a local guy who did red rims on his red '05:

I think it looks alright on the '05.. but I dont think it'd suit a mach...

here's black chrome on my TR mach:

I'm biased.. but I think a darker rim goes better with a lighter car...

Re: Red rims on a red mach?

wow I think those red bullitts look SICK
I might buy some black bullitts and paint the lip red, keep center black...
Or do what the cobra guy did, w/ red in the center

I'm just sick of every mustang running the same overplayed wheels

I saw an 04 mystichrome cobra with its stock wheels powder coated torch red. I personally thought it didn't look to bad. Very different but, not bad.
