18x9 tires
Anyone run 265s rather than 275s on their 18x9 wheels? 275/35 18s seem to be more expensive and pretty hard to find locally. Debating on just buying some from AM and having them mounted.

Re: 18x9 tires
I have run a staggered setup with 265 on the front and had no issues. I just put 275 on my car and nothing is cheap .

Re: 18x9 tires
Are all four wheels 18X9? If so, are you wanting a staggered tire setup? You go as small as 245 and still have it well-matched. Just remember, if it's the same aspect ratio, the tire will be shorter. Slightly rougher ride and lower ground clearance up front. I have 18X9s with 275-35-18 Nitto Invos all the way around and they're great. Price wasn't bad either.

Re: 18x9 tires
Yeah I was just speaking as far as price and availability goes. They are 18x9 all the way around and some local shops don't have any 275/35s in which raised my curiousity about using 265/35.
I figured it up and 265/35s are only about .3" less in diameter than it'd be with 275/35s I was just asking as far as fitment on a 9 inch wheel a 265 fitting. Looks like it does though from what yall have said. Thanks!

Re: 18x9 tires
I was running 275-35-18 on all 4 (18X9), but when replacing the tires after 8'years and 40k miles, I went with 275-40-18 front and 285-40-18 rear Nitto 555's, which seem to be slightly narrower. I love the ride and look, no issues at all.
