Modular Performance Big Bore 5.4 (358ci) Shortblock

Aluminum 5.4L GT block setup for external oil pump. Starter pocket machined
Stock 4.165" stroke crank
GRP custom Aluminum rods
New (in the box) 3.700" Diamond domed, gas ported, coated pistons - 12 to 1 w/ 53cc heads
Total Seal SS rings
Federal Mogul bearings
ARP studs
Rear seal retainer and rear seal
Cometic big bore head gaskets
All assembled.

Great street / strip short block.

$5,200

the block and Big Bore mod alone would cost well over $4k.

The pistons can be swapped for some with more streetable compression for $400.

Yes, thse aren't the soft aluminum rods of the 60s and 70s.

It made over 600rwhp thru an automatic with a Sullivan and GT heads. With GT heads, mild cams and a Cobra R intake it could be a mid 500rwhp, very streetable and formidable combo.

Im thinking about just hanging some navi heads with a sullivan on it and letting it eat.

It would be a beast and not come with the additional weight of a a cast iron block would. 500rwhp would be easy to get with navi heads and a Sullivan.
