When I was separating from the active duty Navy I did my 5 day seperation school at Miramar in '89. That was pretty cool from what I remember. I also ate at the restaurant in San Diego they filmed the piano scene.

I remember that class. It was actually held in an auditorium not far from hangar #4, which is where my squadrun (VF-114) was.

Active duty Army from 1988-1992 and then Army Reserves from 1992-1996. AH-1 Cobra Weapons systems repair. Loved my job. Glad to be out though. thanks to all still in.
