Stock Cobra Bilsteins - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I have my car lowered on Vogtland springs(1.1") and the stock shocks/struts. A buddy of mine was nice enough to give me his stock 04 Cobra shocks/struts after hearing me complain of the bumpy ride. Couple of quick questions.

1. Will the slight lowering of the car affect the Bilsteins performance? Will the ride improve?

2. Is there any way to use the IRS shocks on the stick 8.8 rear axle?
