Coil overs and MM CC Plates
Hey,
So heres what I've got. 2003 Mach with Koni yellows and UPR coil over conversion and MM CC Plates. Issue being the spacer setup. On the bottom side i can do one big spacer, then on top one spacer and that allows the nut to fully engage the threads. However it appears the coil spring just touches the lower plate on the bottom side of the strut tower. So pull it off and add one small spacer. This gives clearance on the lower side but then when you add a small spacer up top ( must have at least one spacer on topside per MM) i cant get the nut to engage enough threads. It's a nylon lock nut and it will just start to cut into the nylon but i cant get the nut down far enough to make me feel secure about it. So I'm just wondering anybody else with Koni yellows running a similar setup ? What spacer combination are you using ? Any pictures? Thanks. |

Re: Coil overs and MM CC Plates
My thought is that the UPR coil overs are crap like so much of their stuff. You bought quality shocks and CC plates so why didn't you go MM for the coil overs?

Re: Coil overs and MM CC Plates
In reality, the springs arent theirs so all you're using of UPR at that point is the threaded sleeve and spring perch. I bought bumpstops from MM so its very similar.
